It could also be implemented as an option do have it on or off on the page. This would help authors have a good chance of getting more rates if they check how many people are looking at the hot maps page or even at a certain map.

swordman said:

I don't think this is really needed right now. [updated]
Personally I would love to see a link somewhere on a map that says how many people favorited the map in question. By clicking on this link you'd be able to see a list of authors who have favorited the map.
I believe this would create a more positive atmosphere within the community and help people connect more.

swordman said:

I would give you 2 votes. People lesser comment maps last time. So why don´t make a Ranking System. E.G. If you write 100 comments you are a Comunity Friend. Take a look at this and please don´t ignore it.
I think of a Ranking System like this:
0-9: New User
10-49: Ninja Trainee
50-99: Mineavoid Ninja
100-199: Community Friend
200-499: Tutorial Ninja
500-999: Profi Ninja
1000-1999: Community Master
2000-4999: Legend
5000+: Master Panda
Special Ranks:
222: Zap Drone
666: Pit Lord
1337: Unbeatable
Date when you create you Profil (month+day): Birthday (E.G. Month 4 Day 25 Number: 425)
The Rank will be showed under the Name of the Ninja
Jeremoontag:nmaps.uservoice.com,2008-02-07:Event/60315012011-03-09T11:37:31-08:002011-03-09T11:37:31-08:00Make N-Game an iPod game app!!
"Not coming in 2011, or ever: an iPhone/iPad/Android/smartphone port of N. We have dissected this idea in detail and have thought about and discussed it at great length. We’ve been over every possibility we can conceive of (and incidentally we continue to rehash possibilities whenever new tech comes on the market), but unfortunately we have concluded that N just will not work to our satisfaction on these devices.

The reason is simply this: N needs buttons. As a player, you need to be able to make the lightning quick decisions N requires and have the game respond immediately. The touch screen interface just isn’t appropriate."

Player 03tag:nmaps.uservoice.com,2008-02-07:Event/59389412011-03-04T09:51:12-08:002011-03-04T09:51:12-08:00Random Maps Issue [updated]
Once you click on one of the random maps, the entire list of maps are regenerated so once you click 'back' the previous search is lost.
