Re-enable .5 ratings on maps (eg: 1.5, 4.5, etc.); this gives the rater a lot more freedom.

Many users on NUMA do not understand how to use RSS feeds. There is a great amount of authors on NUMA who consistently make above average to extremely good maps and it's nice to stay updated on them without having to figure out how RSS works or type "author:username" to discover if they have any new maps. A Favorite Authors function that worked much like the Unread Comments updates would be a perfect addition to NUMA so that one can keep up with their favorite authors.

Currently this function is not operational, and it would really help searching for maps if it were working again.

Personally I would love to see a link somewhere on a map that says how many people favorited the map in question. By clicking on this link you'd be able to see a list of authors who have favorited the map.
I believe this would create a more positive atmosphere within the community and help people connect more.

It'd be great if you could search comments you've made on other people's maps, similar to the post history function you have on the forums.

I'll often comment on someone's map and forgot which one it was a few days later, to see if there was any response to it.

allow users to organize maps into episodes within their profile by basically having the title of the episode with pictures, code, and links to the discussion boards for each of the five maps below the title.

Sometimes when I browse maps on NUMA, I feel the need to go in chronologically forwards, not just playing an author's previous maps. The implementation of this small feature would add an entirely new dimension to the flow of searching for maps on NUMA.

Top-rated was a great way to bring great maps into a more public view, and made it difficult for any map to have a perfect 5/5 rating, which would help bring back the grandeur of that rating.

Wrong # of rated maps on profile. What causes this?

NUMA needs one, it cuts down on random typos, double/triple posting and just makes it easier to use and nicer to look at.

A simple fix that would make browsing through long archives a much smoother process.

Sort of like what there is on YouTube, or several other sites where users upload stuff. A 'Reply' button next to the comments you see that will place your comment below the one you reply to (or not - it could possibly just say 'This comment is a reply to [username]') and notify the author of the original comment when their comment is replied ot.

I think it would be nice to have a who is on this page section on NUMA like they do at the forums.
It could also be implemented as an option do have it on or off on the page. This would help authors have a good chance of getting more rates if they check how many people are looking at the hot maps page or even at a certain map.

Basically, it would prevent people from submitting, say, more than 3/4 maps within 10 hours.

Sometimes I like to go through the maps a certain person has reviewed. For example like maybe I want to see all the maps gloomp has reviewed. Maybe under where it says "Featured maps" on a user's profile it could say "Reviewed maps".

It would be nice if you don't quite get an author's name right in a search that the engine would provide a list of close matches.

e.g. There is no GamingWolf but when you search that it should suggest GamingWolf2000
