Create a Favorite Authors ability
Many users on NUMA do not understand how to use RSS feeds. There is a great amount of authors on NUMA who consistently make above average to extremely good maps and it's nice to stay updated on them without having to figure out how RSS works or type "author:username" to discover if they have any new maps. A Favorite Authors function that worked much like the Unread Comments updates would be a perfect addition to NUMA so that one can keep up with their favorite authors.

If a Favourite Authors list was implemented it would be listed on your profile most likely.

Now everyone has a list of favorite authors on their own profiles (even me). Maybe that makes our profiles more colorful, but i want a fav-author ability too.

I agree 110% because it would make finding maps that you like or want to see easier without using favorite maps. Also so you can see their maps that they make now and then.

i agree with you, it can be a pain to miss out on 3 maps at a time on one of your fave authors
